Dr. Manjit Kr. Bhattacharya is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Cotton University. He did his Graduation (B. Sc.) from B. Barooah College, Guwahati and Post Graduation (M. Sc.) from Gauhati University, Guwahati. He did his PhD from Gauhati University under the supervision of Prof. Birinchi K. Das.

Dr. Bhattacharyya teaches inorganic chemistry in UG and PG level of the University. His current research includes Synthetic approach and exploring synthons for coordination solids, crystal engineering of coordination solids, self assembly processes in biologically relevant coordination compounds, Properties of coordination solids.
