About
Alok Ch. Kalita did his H.S. from B. Borooah College and B.Sc. from Cotton College, followed by an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Gauhati University, and a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay under the supervision of Prof. R. Murugavel. He was fortunate enough to work under the supervision of Prof. Roland A. Fischer and Prof. R. Murugavel at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany as a guest scientist during his PhD for about a semester. He joined the erstwhile Cotton College as Assistant Professor in Chemistry in 2015.
