About

Dr.Nithi Phukan was born and brought up in Dibrugarh, Assam, India. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in chemistry from “Cotton College, Guwahati, Assam” in 2008. Following her M.Sc. in chemistry with specialization in inorganic chemistry from “Gauhati University” in 2010. She has joined Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati India in August 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Jubaraj Bikash Baruah. and obtained her Ph.D. degree in chemistry in January 2017. She then joined “Tel Aviv University, Israel” followed by “New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR, Bangalore, India”.After that she has worked as Assistant Professor in Guwahati College, Jyoti Nagar, Assam. Her research interest includes design and development of novel MOF based catalyst for application in Fuel cell, water splitting technology
